On 2 September 2021, ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, collaborated with the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), USA, to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The purpose of this agreement was to share an interest in providing education and training programs to enhance research capacity in the ASEAN region, address health inequities, and inform health policymakers. This online training program will be organized in modules including the foundation of Health Equity Research and its application in health practice and policy, research methodology module concerning Health Inequity Research, and academic writing module. This program will conform to the direction of ASEAN Health Development Institutes in terms of Global Health, Health Policy and Development, and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).AIHD signed MOU with UMB
