MUGH and Office of Primary Care Cluster, MoPH collaborated to develop Digital Health for PHC

On 3 September 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang, Ph.D.; Vice President for Policy and Planning, Mahidol University presided over the online meeting to discuss the topic of Digital Health, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat; Dean of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, and executives from Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).
During the meeting, they presented preliminary information on the topic for building cooperation between Mahidol University Global Health (MUGH) and Primary Care Cluster, MoPH as followed;
1. Direction for development of primary health care system
2. Guidelines for developing Digital Health to support the integrated and people-centered services in the primary health care system
3. Primary health care service system of Phutthamonthon and Nakhon Chaisri Districts and the need to develop Digital Health
Moreover, they also discussed how to integrate the knowledge and collaborate on the development of Digital Health to support an effective primary health care system under the Mahidol Global Health Mission, to be concrete and beneficial to the people regarding the Primary Health System Act B.E. 2562.
