On 27 January 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D, Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University and Dr. Man Vo, Assistant Director for International Affairs hosted the meeting with UK Healthy Universities Network team on "Further opportunities for collaboration about health promotion in universities network" via online meeting. Joining in the meeting was Leadership team of UK network: Prof Mark Dooris, Chair of UK Healthy Universities network; Dr. Liz Jenkinson from University of the West of England; Dr. Mat Kanwar from University of Hertfordshire and Hazel Wright from Teesside University.
The meeting discussed about collaborative opportunities between AUN-HPN and UK Healthy Universities Network. Future directions include exchanging knowledge for development of Healthy University Rating System, collaborative research on mental health and “whole university” approach”. UK Healthy Universities Network team, including Prof. Mark Dooris, Chair of UK network will be invited to the IAC meeting hosted by AUN-HPN to share about their best practice on healthy universities by the end of 2022.
