On 31 January 2022, ASEAN University Network-Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) secretariat office organized a meeting of the committee working group of Healthy University Rating Systems (HURS). On this occasion, Prof. Dr.Chatchalerm Isararangkum Na Ayutthaya; Dean of Faculty of Medical Technology and chair of the working committee presided over the online meeting together with Assoc. Prof. Dr.Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D., Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD) and Executive Director for AUN-HPN, Asst. Prof. Dr.Thatchavee Leelawat; Kanchanaburi Campus Vice Rector, Dr.Wiwat Rojanapithayakorn, M.D.; Advisor of Executive Director for AUN-HPN and the working group of HURS at Krasae Chanawongse conference Room, AIHD.
In this meeting, the working groups summarized the result of assessment and rank from 8 Healthy Universities in ASEAN and also discussed the preparation of the university assessment report. An assessment report will be prepared to share the results with the participating universities as well. The next meeting will be held on 18 February 2022 to discuss the improvement of the second round of assessment, which aims to make the HURS more efficient and accurate.
In addition, they proposed a workshop training for guidelines related person about introduction of HURS on 29 March 2022. The first round of training will include members of the Thai university network for health promotion (TUN-HPN) and affiliated universities in the AUN-HPN.
