On 18 February 2022, the working committee of ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) organized the meeting to develop and improve the Healthy University Rating System (HURS). Prof. Dr.Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya; Dean of Faculty of Medical Technology was the chairman of the meeting. In this regard, Assoc. Pro. Dr.Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development and Executive Director of AUN-HPN assigned Assoc. Prof. Dr.Thunwadee Suksaroj and Asst.Prof. Dr.Supaporn Songpracha; Deputy Executive Director for AUN-HPN to attend the meeting with HURS development working group. The meeting was held at Krasae Chanawongse conference Room, 2nd floor, ASEAN Institute of Health via Zoom meeting online system.
The meeting mainly was discussed the guideline to revise the criteria and questionnaire for HURS version 2021. The revision of HURS and preparation for HURS version 2022 were based on the feedback from the previous year’s trial assessment by addressing the reported issues. As for the next step, the working group has organized the next meeting on 10 March 2022, to discuss the development of HURS version 2022, and prepare to organize a workshop for member universities in Thailand University Network and leading universities to further expand health promotion among university environment.
In this meeting, AUN-HPN also reported about Thai University Network for Health Promotion (TUN-HPN) meeting which was held by the Faculty of public health, Khon Kean University (Northeast area) on the last 13 February 2022. There were positive responses from many universities that were interested in participating in the HURS assessment. In addition, the implementation of HURS would be reported to the board of Thai Health Foundation in another meeting which was scheduled at 15.00 PM. On the same day. The meeting included the report about the results of 8 participating universities that responded to the HURS version 2021.
