On 2 August 2022, ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University collaborated with National Health Commission Office (NHCO), and Nakhon Pathom Provincial Administrative Organization to organize the Local Health Executives Training batch 1.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D.; Director of AIHD gave a welcome speech to the participants. Mr. Jirawat Sasomsup; President of Nahon Pathom Provincial Administration also presided over the opening ceremony and gave a speech on “From Policy to Practice: Transfer of Public Health Missions to Local Areas” together with Mr. Wiroj Rattanaamronsakul, M.D.; Nakhon Pathom Provincial Public Health Doctor. Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phudit also lectured on “Principles and Regulations of Health System’.
This training also was honored by expert speakers, who were Dr. Preeda Taearak, Deputy Secretary General of National Health Commission, Thailand (NHCO, Thailand), Mr. Jaruek Chairak; Director of Local Public Policy Promotion (NHCO), Mr. Thawatchai Narksrisang; Chief of Public Health Strategy, Nakhon Pathom Public Health Office, Patjiratch Touchmekrat; Chief of Preventive Infectious Diseases section, Department of Local Administration, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supaporn Songpracha; Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, AIHD, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mayuree Yotawut; Assistant Director of Academic Affairs, AIHD, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj; AIHD lecturer, and Asst. Prof. Somsak Wongsawass; AIHD lecturer. This training will be held from 2 – 4 August 2022 at Boonsiri Hall, AIHD. The total number of participants was 120.
