The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, organized the Routine to Research: R2R workshop from 19 to 21 August 2020.
AIHD Director, Asst. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D., has presided over the opening ceremonies of the R2R workshop and welcomed the 33 workshop participants on 19 August, in Room 2108, AIHD.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somboon Sirisunhirun, AIHD’s Deputy Director for Administration, along with other members of the AIHD Executive Board, has joined the AIHD Director in welcoming the participants.
On the first day of the 3-day workshop, Asst. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D, has given a lecture about the “Concept of Routine to Research: R2R”. After the first lecture, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somboon Sirisunhirun has also provided a lecture and conducted a workshop about the Concept and techniques for creating and developing academic work from routine to research, Creating a research topic for routine development, and Setting research objectives and research delimitation.
The Routine to Research: R2R workshop aims to provide the workshop participants with the appropriate knowledge and understanding about academic developments from Routine to Research: R2R, analyze and synthesize routine tasks problems and develop these problems into research ideas and research projects. It also targets to provide advice and guidance to improve and develop helpful routines in conducting effective research; help provide understanding regarding research methodologies, both in qualitative and quantitative research; and give the participants a clear view on how to apply their research into practice and use it to advance their academic position.
