The leading working group responsible for developing the Healthy University Rating Systems (HURS) met to prepare for the joint symposium at the Global Health Congress 2023

On 1 November 2023, the office of the Secretary-General of the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) held a meeting. The meeting brought together the leading working group responsible for developing the Healthy University Rating Systems (HURS) to monitor the progress of the HURS Version 2023 assessment and prepare for the AUN-HPN Joint Symposium with the theme "Pathways to Sustainable Universities: Best Practices from AUN-HPN and HURS" at the Global Health Congress 2023. The congress will take place from 24 – 26 November 2023, at Tokyo University, Japan. Prof. Dr. Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya; Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, chaired the working group responsible for developing the Healthy University Rating Systems (HURS) together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang; Acting Director, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj; Acting Deputy Director for Administration and Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supaporn Songpracha; Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN, Dr. Wiwat Rojanapithayakorn MD; Former Executive Director of AUN-HPN, and Mr. Theerapan Vimolsaravong; Director, Division of the Information Technology and his team also attended the meeting held at the Ratchapruek Meeting Room, ASEAN Health Promotion Institute and online via Zoom Meeting. During this meeting, the working group brainstormed the plan for Data Verification, which will be conducted for each university participating in the assessment of HURS Version 2023 between 15 August and 16 November 2023. This process aims to ensure that each university receives feedback from two reviewers and undergoes a final verification to ensure the data is accurate and complete according to the assessment criteria. This information will be used to compile a report on the university's health promotion status (Healthy University) as part of the ongoing efforts to promote healthy university. Furthermore, the meeting addressed preparations for the AUN-HPN Joint Symposium with the theme "Pathways to Sustainable Universities: Best Practices from AUN-HPN and HURS" at the Global Health Congress 2023, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan relations. The symposium is scheduled for 25 November 2023 at Tokyo University in Japan.
