AUN-HPN presented the progress report on Phase 3 implementation

On 8 January 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Acting Deputy Director for Administration at ASEAN Institute for Health Development, led the AUN-HPN Secretariat team to present a progress report on Phase 3 at the 4th meeting of the Steering Committee for the Partnership and International Affairs Section of the Thai Health Promotion Foundation. The report highlighted the network's activities conducted since May 2023, including workshops, meetings, and conferences aimed at fostering the development of healthy universities in the ASEAN region. At the meeting, the Committee provided valuable recommendations for further enhancing AUN-HPN's operations, focusing on three key areas: • Expand the network's scope to address pressing issues, such as student mental health, which has seen a concerning rise in depression rates across faculties and institutions. • Deepen community engagement and partnerships, further connecting with local communities, broader society, and other stakeholders. • Strengthen collaboration with other relevant networks, collaborating more actively at national, regional, and ASEAN levels. AUN-HPN is committed to incorporating these valuable suggestions. The Secretariat will carefully consider and implement strategic actions to refine its operations based on the Committee's feedback. This commitment to continuous improvement ensures AUN-HPN's continued effectiveness in achieving its goals and transforming universities in the ASEAN+3 region into true "healthy universities."
