AIHD held academic activity on Promoting Research, Technology, and Innovation for Utilizations

On 13 February 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang; Acting for Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University was honored to preside over the academic activity “Promoting Research, Technology, and Innovation for Utilizations”. In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat; Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul; Acting Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, AIHD, speakers from iNT, and AIHD staff participate in a knowledge exchange seminar to identify strategies for research and academic activities. Additionally, cultivate understanding and opportunities to leverage commercial innovation from the research and academic endeavours of the institution at Room 2106. Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul presented the direction to promote Primary Health Care work which will develop comprehensive health promotion and disease prevention programs in schools. In addition, speakers from iNT suggested on directions for collaboration with both public and private sector organizations, along with outlining opportunities for the development of research and/or academic work within the department, which will be the commercial benefits through the creation of products and services.
