MUGH Consultative Meeting 2024

On 21 March 2024, Mahidol University Global Health Coordination Unit, ASEAN Institute for Health Development and Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University held MUGH Consultative Meeting 2024 together with national and international partners that are Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, SEAMEO TROPMED Network, Southeast Asia One Health University Network (SEAOHUN) Secretariat, USAID Regional Development Mission Asia, USGS – National Wildlife Health Center (USGS – NWHC), WHO Country Office for Thailand, World Organisation of Animal Health (WOAH) , Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia, National Parks Board, Singapore, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health - Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Thailand, Department of National Parks (Thailand), Wildlife and Plant Conservation, Mahidol University, Thailand on behalf of ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Faculty of Veterinarian Science, Thailand National Wildlife Health Center (Thailand-NWHC), and School of Medicine, Vietnam National University, Vietnam to enhance health policy in theme of Mitigating Transboundary Emerging Infectious Diseases: Wildlife and One Health Sustainability at ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University between 21 to 22 March 2024. In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pratap Singhasivanon; Secretary-General/Coordinator of SEAMEO TROPMED Network was honored to be the keynote speaker entitled TEIDs and Its impact on sustainability, and Dr. Soawapak Hinjoy; Director, Office of International Cooperation, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand was honored to be the keynote speaker entitled Impacts of TEIDs on health security. Then, they brainstormed to analysis situation and provide policy recommendations on TEID with the concept of One Health sustainability in ASEAN.
