AIHD gathered in the Celebration of the 15 Years of Partnership with Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal

On 21 – 24 March 2024, Clinical Prof. Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, M.D.; Chairman of University Council of Mahidol University, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D.; President of Mahidol University together with Mahidol University executives visited Nepal to collaborate academically with Kathmandu University and Dhulikhel hospital. The purpose of the visit was to celebrate 15 years of collaboration between Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University, Nepal and Mahidol University, Thailand. It also aimed to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions in order to continue and develop cooperation and to meet and engage with alumni to create sustainable partnerships. In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang; Acting Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool; AIHD lecturer also joined this trip to continue collaboration on academic activities, research, and student exchange. During this occasion, they also met and interacted with Mahidol University alumni and government officers from Nepal. This gathering included approximately 200 people from Kathmandu University and Dhulikhel Hospital.
