Adjunct Prof. Wiwat Rojanapithayakorn, M.D., Secretary-General of ASEAN University Network - Health Promotion Sub-Network (AUN-HPN), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakda Arj-ong Vallibhakara, M.D., AIHD Assistant Director for Research and Innovation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Vijj Kasemsup, M.D., AIHD Deputy Director, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, represented the AIHD Director, Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, M.D. in a meeting with Assoc. Prof. Daisaku Nakatani, Head of the Global Clinical Research Support Group, Department of Medical Innovation, Osaka University Hospital, Prof. Ken Nakata, Director of the Center for Global Health, along with Osaka University officers via Zoom held at Ratchaphruek Rm., AIHD Admin Bldg., on 17 September 2020.
The main objectives of the meeting were to discuss the 6th International Advisory Committee (IAC) meeting and to be acquainted with each other, as it was the first time that both parties have met, and to learn about the Global Health framework of the two parties.
Discussions regarding the 6th IAC meeting were focused on 3 topics: 1) Date and venue, 2) Tentative Program, and 3) The preparations of both parties and the online system to be used for the meeting.
