The 16th AUN-HPN Steering Committee Meeting

On June 19, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang, Acting Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University and Executive Director of AUN-HPN was assigned by Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University to preside over the 16th AUN-HPN Steering Committee Meeting at Krasae Chanawongse Conference Room, 2nd floor, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University and via Zoom Meeting Platform. Also attended in the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Acting Deputy Director for Administration, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University and Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN; Asst. Prof. Dr. Supaporn Songpracha, Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN; Dr. Nuttapun Supaka, Director of Partnership and International Affairs Section, Thai Health Promotion Foundation; the AUN-HPN Steering Committee and representatives from various departments in Mahidol University. The AUN-HPN Steering Committee meets twice a year with the aim of guiding the committee in setting directions and providing suggestions for the AUN-HPN work plan. Additionally, the Steering Committee is responsible for approving applications for AUN-HPN associate membership. Key agenda items discussed during this meeting included: 1) Outcomes of the 8th AUN-HPN International Advisory Committee Meeting and AUN-HPN Joint Symposium held in Tokyo, Japan, in November 2023 2) Healthy University Rating System (HURS) 2023: Participation and Results 3) Outcomes of the 2nd Thai Healthy University Conference held in Thailand in March 2024. The 16th AUN-HPN Steering Committee Meeting served as a platform for collective consideration and approval of Songkhla Rajabhat University, Rangsit University and other universities applied as associate members of AUN-HPN. Furthermore, the meeting facilitated a joint discussion and recommendations for expanding the network and advancing health promotion policies through the adoption of AUN Healthy University Framework (HUF) and active participation in the Healthy University Rating System (HURS).
