AIHD co-hosted the 15th International Graduate Students Conference on Population and Public Health Sciences (IGSCPP)

On 12 July 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuthamanee Suthisisang; Acting Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University gave welcome remarks at the opening ceremony of the 15th International Graduate Students Conference on Population and Public Health Sciences (IGSCPP) together with Prof. Chitlada Areesantichai, Ph.D.; Dean of the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, and Assoc. Prof. Chalermpol Chamchan, Ph.D.; Director of Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University. This conference was honored to have Prof. Wilert Puriwat; Acting President of Chulalongkorn University, who delivered the opening remarks and gave a keynote speech entitled “Visionary Research in Public Health Services” at the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. The 15th International Graduate Students Conference on Population and Public Health Sciences (IGSCPP) is an event for academics, researchers, and graduate students to present their research findings in public health and demography. A total of 66 participants presented their research, including 41 oral presentations and 28 poster presentations. The participants were from various countries, including the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Iran, and Thailand.
