Discussions emphasized addressing key health challenges in the ASEAN region, with a particular focus on promoting health literacy and analyzing health profiles of staff and students to design targeted, impactful interventions. Osaka University has been a long-standing partner of AIHD, playing a vital role in advancing sustainable and high-quality health promotion initiatives within universities. The two institutions formalized their partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in October 2024, which focuses on fostering collaboration through joint symposiums, collaborative research projects, researcher exchanges, and the sharing of knowledge and expertise. The agreement further underscores a shared commitment to advancing global health and promoting sustainable well-being.
