The ASEAN Institute for Health Development, in collaboration with the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand, launches Mini Master of Management in Health: Mini MM Batch 45, Regional Health 4

On March 14, 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, in collaboration with the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand and Regional Health 4, inaugurated the 45th Mini Master of Management in Health: Mini MM, Batch 45. The event was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations, who warmly welcomed the participants. Additionally, Asst. Prof. Dr. Duongsamorn Manowan, a faculty member from the Department of Health Development and the program coordinator, presented the objectives of the training program. The opening ceremony was honored by Dr. Porntep Siriwanarangsun, President of the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand, who presided over the event and delivered a keynote lecture on "Applied Preventive Medicine for Health System for Executives." and "Financial and Fiscal Management in Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities." On this occasion, Dr. Apisit Patamarat, Deputy Director of Medical Affairs, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Hospital also honored the opening ceremony of the program with his presence. The program was attended by 103 professionals, including doctors, nurses, and public health academics from Health Region 4, representing Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Lopburi, Singburi, Saraburi, and Nakhon Nayok provinces. The event was held at The Krungsri River Hotel, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. The 45th Executive Program in Public Health Administration will run from March 14 to June 15, 2025. Its primary objective is to enhance management competencies for public health executives and foster a network for efficient health system administration. The program also aims to ensure high-quality health management that keeps pace with rapid societal changes while emphasizing strategic analysis skills that contribute to sustainable organizational development. The training process focuses on experiential learning delivered by expert speakers with specialized knowledge. It incorporates various learning approaches, including lectures, hands-on training, and close mentorship which provide valuable insights and guidance.
