On May 26, 2025, the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) Secretariat organized a meeting among the Healthy University Rating System (HURS) Working Committee members to discuss guidelines for promoting the use of HURS for health promotion in higher education institutions and to prepare for the HURS Workshop 2025 for Thai universities, which will be held on June 16, 2025. It aims to enable universities to understand the principles and procedures of assessment and to systematically prepare documents and evidence for use in receiving assessments for the Evaluation of HURS 2025.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University and Chair of the Committee on HURS Development. Other distinguished participants included: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations at ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University; Dr. Wiwat Rojanapithayakorn, M.D., Advisor of the AUN-HPN Steering Committee; Asst. Prof. Dr. Vijj Kasemsup, M.D., Director of Tobacco Control Research and Knowledge Management Center (TRC); Asst. Prof. Dr. Supaporn Songpracha, Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; the representative from IT Division, Mahidol University and other members of the working committee. The meeting took place at Krasae Chanawongse Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, and was also conducted via Zoom Meeting for online participants.
