On June 15, 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, together with the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand and the Health Region 4 Office, held the closing ceremony for the 45th Mini Master of Management in Health Program (Mini M.M. in Health), conducted in Health Region 4. The event was honored by Dr. Porntep Siriwanarangsun, President of the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand, and Dr. Preecha Prempree, Inspector General of the Ministry of Public Health for Health Region 4, who served as co-chairs in delivering the closing remarks and presenting certificates to the program participants.
The program, which targets senior public health executives, included participants from Health Region 4, including physicians, nurses, and public health academics from the provinces of Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, Lopburi, Sing Buri, Saraburi, and Nakhon Nayok, as well as nearby provinces, with a total of 103 trainees.
Asst Prof. Dr. Duangsamon Manowan delivered the opening report. In addition, Dr. Chuwanon Imarb, Public Health Officer of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, joined in congratulating the graduates at the Krungsri River Hotel in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
On June 13, 2025, Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa, President of the Council of Naresuan University and Vice President of the Medical Council of Thailand, delivered a special lecture on “New Leadership for Public Health Executives” and “Management of Medical and Public Health Personnel and Coordination of Assistance.”
On June 14, Dr. Chok Bulakul, Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre (Public Organization) and Managing Director of the Chokchai Group, delivered a lecture on “Image Building and Modern Management for Public Health Executives.” In the afternoon, participants underwent a comprehensive examination to assess knowledge and competencies gained throughout the program.
The training concluded with group project presentations under the theme “Strategic Plans for Public Health Management.” Expert panelists, including Dr. Porntep Siriwanarangsun, Dr. Preecha Prempree, Dr. Chuwanon Imarb, and Associate Professor Dr. Piyapong Chanmaimoon, provided feedback and recommendations for further development and practical application in strengthening health systems tailored to local contexts.
