ASEAN Institute for Health Development Organizes Orientation for Exchange Students from Chang Gung University, Taiwan

On June 30, 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, organized an orientation session to welcome four exchange students from the Department of Health Care Management, Chang Gung University, Taiwan. The event took place at Krasae Chanawongse Room.
The orientation was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapin Laosee, Deputy Director for Administration and Academic Services; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs. The event was also attended by AIHD faculty members who warmly welcomed the students.
The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD) places great importance on student exchange programs with partner universities, as they offer valuable opportunities for students from both institutions to gain academic and research experience in the field of Primary Health Care Management. These programs also allow students to explore diverse health service systems in different contexts.
The orientation session aimed to provide practical and essential information to the exchange students, including guidance on living in Thailand, important cultural and behavioral norms, and detailed program activities. The two-month exchange program runs from June 30 to August 29, 2025, and the orientation was designed to ensure a smooth transition and successful participation throughout their stay.
