ASEAN Institute for Health Development(AIHD) hosts Pre-Arrival Orientation for MPHM Batch 40 Students
3 July 2025
On July 3, 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, warmly welcomed over 20 incoming students of the Master of Primary Health Care Management (MPHM) Batch 40 during a pre-arrival orientation session held online.
The orientation was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapin Laosee, Deputy Director for Administration and Academic Services, who extended her warm welcome to the new students. The session was also attended by AIHD focal persons who provided guidance and information for the MPHM program.
The main agenda of the session included the overview of the course registration process, details about the MPHM curriculum structure, explanation of the learning format, introduction to campus facilities, academic resources, and student support services.
In addition to these essential updates, the orientation also served as an opportunity for students to get to know each other, build early connections, and share their expectations and interests. A Q&A session allowed students to raise inquiries and receive clarifications regarding academic procedures, university life, and upcoming schedules starting from early August 2025.
The pre-arrival meetup was a meaningful step toward ensuring a smooth transition for the incoming students and fostering a sense of community from the very beginning of their academic journey at AIHD.
