On July 4, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of AIHD, and Associate Professor Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, participated in a collaborative academic meeting with the Health Policy and System Research Team, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, led by Professor Emeritus Paibul Suriyawongpaisal, M.D., along with Assistant Professor Dr. Samrit Srithamrongsawat M.D, Dr. Pawin Sriwichian M.D., and Dr. Peerasit Sitthirat, M.D.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss approaches for implementing the project "Academic Initiative toward Positive Social Impact to Solve Traffic Accident Problems in Thailand". This project aims to develop a model for operational procedures and innovation in public policy synthesis processes to effectively and sustainably address road accident problems. Through a multi-stakeholder collaboration involving government agencies, private sector, civil society, and international organizations, the initiative seeks to reduce road traffic accidents and minimize fatalities and injuries.
