On July 4, 2025, AIHD, in partnership with the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand and the 10th Health Service Area Office, commenced the 47th Batch of the Mini Master Management in Health (Mini M.M. in Health) , held in the 10th Health Service Area. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapin Laosee
Deputy Director for Administration and Academic Services, AIHD, warmly welcomed the participants and guest speakers. The opening also featured a welcome address and program overview by Asst. Prof. Dr. Duongsamorn Manowan, a lecturer from the Department of Health Development.
The ceremony was honored by Dr. Uraiwan Jamnongsiri, Public Health Inspector for the 10th Health Service Area, and Dr. Porntep Siriwanarangsun, President of the Preventive Medicine Association of Thailand, who served as the opening speakers. Distinguished guests included Dr. Theerapong Kaewphom, Public Health Doctor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, and Dr. Monchai Wiwattanasitthipong, Director of Sappasitthiprasong Hospital.
A total of 98 participants joined the training, including doctors, nurses, and public health professionals from the 10th Health Service Area, which comprises the provinces of Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, and Mukdahan. The training took place at the Sappasitthiprasong Hotel, Ubon Ratchathani Province.
On the opening day, July 4, 2025, Dr. Porntep Siriwanarangsun delivered two lectures titled “Applied Preventive Medicine for Health System Executives” and “Financial and Fiscal Management in Hospitals and Health Facilities.”
The 47th Batch of the AEP-PH in the 10th Health Service Area runs from July 4 to September 27, 2025. It is a collaborative academic initiative designed to strengthen the competencies of senior health executives, enabling them to build strategic networks and manage health systems effectively in the context of rapid social change. The program emphasizes the development of analytical thinking and leadership skills to navigate complex challenges.
The curriculum includes a wide range of learning methods, including lectures, hands-on practical sessions with group facilitators, and project-based learning. Participants receive mentorship and constructive feedback from experienced experts, enabling them to apply their knowledge toward developing seamless, inclusive, and effective health service systems — ultimately contributing to better health outcomes for the population.
