On 21 July 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University and Executive Director of AUN-HPN assigned Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Junmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations at AIHD and Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN to convene an online preparatory meeting with representatives from three co-host universities. The meeting was honored by 1). Dr. Paul Michael R. Hernandez, University of the Philippines Manila 2). Dr. Norman Dennis E. Marquez, Ateneo de Manila University and 3). Ms. Katherene Arboleda, De La Salle University, along with their working teams
The meeting was conducted via Zoom Meeting and at the Krasae Chanawongse Conference Room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University. The purpose of this meeting was to ensure the smooth coordination and readiness for the upcoming 10th International Advisory Committee Meeting and the 4th AUN-HPN International Health Promotion Conference, which will be held on 27–28 November 2025 in the Philippines with the theme “Advancing Health Promotion in the ASEAN Region: Championing University Innovations for Equity and Resilience.”
The AUN-HPN International Advisory Committee (IAC) is held annually with the aim of strengthening the regional collaboration in health promotion within ASEAN universities. The committee plays a key role in providing conceptual frameworks, strategic directions, and recommendations to effectively drive the AUN-HPN’s strategic and action plans.
