ASEAN Institute for Health Development Organizes Special Lecture on “Implementation of a Community-Led Strategy to Reduce Cardiovascular Disease Risk Among Conflict-Affected Populations in Eastern Myanmar”

On July 23, 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development organized a special lecture titled “Implementation of a Community-Led Strategy to Reduce Cardiovascular Disease Risk Among Conflict-Affected Populations in Eastern Myanmar.” The lecture was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Adam K. Richards, MD, PhD, from the Milken Institute School of Public Health and the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, George Washington University, USA, who also serves as an adjunct professor at AIHD. The lecture aimed to share knowledge and practical experience related to research implementation in Myanmar’s border areas with students and interested participants. A total of 46 attendees joined the session onsite at the Krasae Chanawongse Conference Room, AIHD, and online via Zoom Meeting.
