Conflict Management for Sustainable Collaborations lecture at AIHD

The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University invited Prof. Dr. David Briggs, AM., to give a special online lecture on “Conflict Management for Sustainable Collaborations” to students in the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Health and Sustainable Development and Master of Primary Health Care Management program (International Program) on 16 October 2020 via Webex.
Prof. Dr. David Briggs, AM., an expert in Primary Health Care Services from Australia, is an Adjunct Professor at AIHD. He is currently the Vice President and Director of The Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Care Network (HNECC PHN), a non-profit NGO funded by the Commonwealth government to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the primary health care system.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakda Arj-ong Vallibhakara, M.D., Deputy Director for Research Innovation and Academic Services of AIHD, has welcomed Prof. David Briggs during the opening program.
20 participants from 10 different countries, including Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Philippines, China, Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand have participated in the event. They have also exchanged knowledge and shared experiences about conflict management in their respective places and various problem-solving strategies.
