On 1 October 2025, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, led by Associate Professor Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations, together with the institute’s faculty members, warmly welcomed the visit of Dr. Basanta Kumar Das, Director of the ICAR–Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore, Kolkata, India. The meeting aimed to discuss potential collaboration between the two institutions in education and research, with a particular focus on “Environmental Contamination, Microplastics in Ecosystems, and Environmental Health Challenges.” The discussion was held at the Ratchaphruek Meeting Room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development.
